Real emotions and real connections are what we aim to capture at Chasing Butterflies. Our sessions are stress free by design, and our only requirement is that you allow for at least 2 hours with your family without distraction. This relaxed atmosphere not only helps us get great photos, it also makes for a pleasant experience for all involved.

Location Details

 The choice is yours when it comes to choosing the location, however we are here to help you and give you some ideas to think about when you make your booking.

For newborns and young babies staying inside the family home is usually best, while for older kids we like to start in the home, then go on to a second location.

We cover all Melbourne suburbs and can make arrangements for some country areas too.

Chasing Butterflies was founded by photographer Geoff Burrows who continues to photograph all jobs personally. He has been producing professional portraits of children and families since 2005. In this time he has also worked in the corporate field including work for the prime ministers office, as well as a number of weddings leading recently to a decision to split his time between wedding and family portrait work with a website devoted to wedding photography at www.geoffburrows.com.au  

He has also had a number of his fine art works displayed in galleries including a successful solo exhibition in 2008. Continually inspired by his own family you can see his two daughters with a friend on the contact page.
